I saw a dually pulling a long trailer full of about half a dozen 70 series single cabs and beds (just the cabs and beds) in white. They looked brand new and it left me very confused.

I know a few overland companies import them as training vehicles, so probably that. They don’t ever register them for road use but in 25 years time? hmm...

Probably third-party replicas.

and you know what? It was! I’ve never even been to Mt. Vesuvius.

Only actually, I definitely saw T O Y O T A in HUGE red letters on those tailgates and clearly 70 series cabs. it was odd times.

Someone posted about this the other day. Was it you?

I can’t find the post, but if they were all white, they were probably armored.

There’s a Gov Agency by me (or a armored contractor) that usually has a bunch of these sitting around.

They were probably being delivered to another facility, or to an airport.

EDIT - I didn’t see the part of your post about them being trucks.

Yeah, I remember seeing that post but as far as I know there is no up armor facility in Utah and they weren’t on or near the freeway. In their current knockdown state I’m just not sure what they could be for. The only thing I could think of is that Greg Miller is up to something.

Maybe farm trucks? Some companies import stuff like Kei trucks as farm vehicles, and therefore aren’t allowed for road use. Would think there would be a market for something similar, but bigger.

Possibly, seems like a really pricey way to get a farm truck.

I’ve also seen this before. Was headed back north from rural alabama and saw a farm with a huge barn full of kei trucks.

I know the military buys Hilux's and the like for training, that could always be the case.

Did you find yourself in New Zealand or that big place next door to it by any chance? or perhaps were you teleported to a rice field in Japan?

I was still right side up and the sun was still coming up on the normal side, so I can’t say I was magically transported...though it felt like it.
